Water damage restoration for public and special facilities

Airports, arenas, civic buildings and places of worship share one problem: you cannot simply close them. We work inside security regimes, event calendars and public procurement rules, with crews who have done it before.

Who We Serve

Facility types we restore

Public buildings impose access and scheduling constraints before they impose a drying problem.

Airport Water Damage

Terminal, concourse and airside recovery under badging, escort and operational restrictions.

Sports Facility Water Damage

Arenas, stadia and training facilities where playing surfaces and event dates drive the program.

Common Causes

Where these losses usually start

Scale, public footfall and aging fabric combine to make small failures spread quickly.

Large-span roof and gutter systems

Long-span roofs over concourses and arenas carry large internal gutters. One blockage during a Georgia storm discharges across a public floor within minutes.

Sprinkler discharge at high level

Discharge from a head at high level spreads far wider than the same event at ceiling height, wetting seating, surfaces, signage and electronics across a wide radius.

Public restrooms and high-use fixtures

Restroom blocks serving thousands of people a day fail at flush valves, urinals and floor drains, and the water crosses into public circulation space immediately.

Concessions and event kitchens

Concession stands and event kitchens combine heavy use with limited drainage, generating Category 2 and 3 losses directly beneath public seating and circulation.

Below-grade plant and service tunnels

Service tunnels, plant rooms and pits below terminals and arenas take groundwater and pipe failures, threatening switchgear, controls and building systems.

Aging civic building fabric

Older civic buildings and places of worship carry historic roofs, parapets and rainwater goods, where a single failure can reach interiors that cannot be replaced.
Our Approach

How we work in a public building

Access and the next opening date shape the program before the drying does.

Close the area, then contain

The first priority is making the affected area safe and closed to the public — barriers, signage and slip control in place before any drying equipment arrives on the floor.

Work inside your access regime

Crew lists, badging, escorts and vehicle access are arranged in advance. Where airside or secure access is needed, we mobilize cleared personnel rather than losing hours at the gate.

Program around the fixed dates

Flight banks, event days, services and council calendars are treated as immovable. The drying program is built backwards from the next time the space must be open.

Reinstate and evidence

Surfaces, seating, finishes and specialist elements are restored, with moisture verification, clearance and a full photographic record issued for the authority and the carrier.

Security-cleared working

Background-checked technicians, documented crew lists and compliance with airside, civic and venue access controls.

Event-driven programming

Programes built around fixed public dates, with contingency staged so the space opens on time or the risk is flagged early enough to act on.

Procurement-ready documentation

Scopes, rates and reports formatted for public-sector procurement, audit and record-keeping requirements.
Documentation

Records for authorities, auditors and carrierss

Public bodies are accountable for the response as well as the loss. The file has to support both.

Public-safety records

Barrier plans, slip-risk controls and area closure logs maintained throughout, so the authority can evidence its duty of care to the public.

Access and personnel logs

Every technician recorded against badging and escort requirements, with clearance status held on file and available on request.

Procurement-compatible pricing

Scopes and rates presented in a format that supports competitive tender, framework call-off and subsequent public audit.

Moisture verification reporting

Daily readings by location are measured against a written dry standard and issued as a formal report within 24 hours.

    Frequently asked questions

The questions facility and property managers ask us most often about this kind of property.

Can you work airside or in secure areas?

Yes, subject to your own badging and escort requirements. We provide crew lists, identification and clearance details in advance so access can be arranged before mobilization rather than negotiated at the gate. Where escorted access is the only option, we plan the program around escort availability instead of assuming free movement.

Sometimes, and we will tell you honestly which it is. The assessment gives you a drying timeline against your event date within the first visit. Where the date is achievable we build the program backwards from it; where it is not, you get that answer early enough to move the event, reconfigure the space or open a reduced footprint.
Specialist sports surfaces, sprung floors and synthetic systems are assessed against the manufacturer’s own guidance before any drying method is applied, because the wrong approach can cause more damage than the water did. Where the system requires a specialist installer, we coordinate them rather than improvising a repair.
The affected area is closed and barriered before equipment arrives, with signage, slip control and clearly marked exclusion zones. Closure logs, barrier plans and daily checks are recorded throughout, so the authority has evidence of the controls that were in place.
We document the loss thoroughly, provide the scope and evidence your adjuster needs, and bill your carrier directly wherever the policy allows. We document the loss factually and provide that documentation to you and to your carrier. Yes. Scopes, rates and reporting are presented in a format that supports competitive tender, framework call-off and public audit. For emergency work carried out under an existing agreement, the documentation is prepared so the spend can be evidenced retrospectively.
