Website accessibility statement
People often visit this site during a water emergency, using whatever device is within reach. This statement explains the accessibility standard we work toward, the features already in place, the barriers we know about, and how to contact us if the site prevents you from getting what you need.

Our commitment
Commercial Water Damage works to make this website usable for everyone, including people who use screen readers, magnification, speech input, switch devices, or a keyboard instead of a mouse. A water loss can happen at any time, so access to help should not depend on how you browse the web.
Accessibility is part of how we design and maintain the site. We build new templates with keyboard access, clear page structure, and readable color contrast. We also review older pages and correct issues as part of our regular maintenance.
No website is ever completely finished. If anything on this site stops you from finding information or contacting us, please tell us. You can also call us and speak with someone who can help you complete the same task.
Our accessibility standard
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our benchmark for design and testing. The World Wide Web Consortium publishes WCAG as an international standard for digital accessibility. You can review the guidelines at w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/quickref.
We also consider the expectations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Our customers include public accommodations, government facilities, schools, healthcare properties, and senior living communities, many of which expect accessible service from their vendors.
Accessibility features
We build these features into shared page templates so they apply consistently as the site grows.
Keyboard access
Menus, dropdowns, links, forms, and buttons can be reached and used without a mouse. The tab order follows the page in a logical sequence.
Visible keyboard focus
A high-contrast focus ring shows which link, button, or form field is currently selected.
Skip link
The first link in the tab order lets screen reader and keyboard users skip the navigation and go directly to the main content.
Clear page structure
Landmark regions, one main heading per page, and a logical heading order help assistive technology navigate the content.
Readable text and contrast
We check text, headings, buttons, and interface labels against Level AA contrast requirements and use comfortable type sizes and line spacing.
Labelled form fields
Each field has a visible label connected to its input, so people do not have to rely on placeholder text or the visual layout.
Reduced motion
When a device is set to reduce motion, the site automatically turns off transitions and smooth scrolling.
Zoom and responsive layout
Pages adapt to narrow screens and remain usable at 200% text zoom without clipped content or horizontal scrolling.
Testing and maintenance
We check each page template before it goes live and test it again whenever the template changes.
Automated checks
Before publication, automated tools check each template for contrast, missing labels, landmark structure, and valid markup.
Keyboard review
A reviewer moves through the full page without a mouse to check the focus order, focus visibility, and keyboard controls.
Assistive technology review
We spot-check key templates with desktop and mobile screen readers, paying attention to heading order, link purpose, and form instructions.
Fix and retest
We record each issue, prioritize it by its effect on the user, make the correction, and retest the page before closing the issue.
Known limitations
As of the review date shown above, we know about the following limitations:
- Third-party embeds. Outside providers supply maps, review feeds, and any chat or scheduling widgets. We cannot control all of their markup. If an embedded tool blocks you, call us for the same information or service.
- PDF documents. Some older certificates, sample moisture reports, and case study summaries may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us for an accessible version of any document you need.
- Project photography. Project photos use brief alt text. If you need more detail about an image, contact us and we will describe it.
- Video content. Some walkthroughs or explainer videos may not include captions. Contact us to request a transcript.
- Older pages. Pages carried over from earlier versions of the site are being reviewed in batches and updated to the current template standard.
This statement applies only to commercialwaterdamage.com. Other organizations are responsible for the accessibility of websites we link to.
Other ways to reach us
You do not need to use a web form to get help. By phone, we can arrange emergency dispatch, provide pricing, help with moisture reports and claim documents, or discuss priority response enrollment. Phone support is available throughout our service area across all 159 Georgia counties.
Speak with a person
A person answers our emergency line 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Report an accessibility barrier
If a page, control, or document prevented you from completing a task, tell us what happened. Specific details can help us find and correct the problem more quickly.
Information to include
- The page address, or a description of where you were on the site
- What you were trying to do and what happened instead
- Your browser, device, and any assistive technology you were using
- How you want us to reply and the best phone number or email address to use
We use the information you submit only to investigate and respond to your report. Read our Privacy Policy for more information. If you have an active water loss, call (800) 555-0182 instead of waiting for a form response.
What happens after you report a barrier
A person reviews every accessibility report and responds directly. We will tell you whether we could reproduce the problem, what action we plan to take, and when we expect to take it. If a permanent fix needs more time, we will offer another way to complete the task or help you by phone.
If you need help immediately, or if the barrier is delaying an emergency request, claim document, or quote, call (404) 555-0134. We will address the issue by phone instead of making you wait for a written response.
We review this statement and retest the site's main templates at least once a year and after any significant redesign.
If our response does not resolve the issue
Please contact us again so we can escalate the matter internally. You may also file a complaint under the Americans with Disabilities Act with the U.S. Department of Justice at ada.gov.
